CPP, EI and income tax — to the cent
Gross to net under the CRA's T4127 formulas, reconciled to the CRA's own Payroll Deductions Online Calculator across all fourteen federal and provincial jurisdictions — Québec included.
CPP and CPP2
Both tiers, with the yearly maximums and the start and stop by date of birth that the PIER report checks later.
EI, and Québec's reduced rate
Employee and employer premiums, the Québec rate where it applies, and the EI premium reduction when you run a registered plan.
Federal and provincial tax
The T4127 formulas for every province and territory, including claim codes and the Québec abatement.
Québec as its own regime
QPP and QPP2 instead of CPP, QPIP, provincial tax under Québec's own rules, and RL-1 slips beside the T4.
Taxable benefits
Cash and non-cash benefits treated the way the CRA treats them — insurable or not, pensionable or not.
New rates are data
Tax years load as data, not code. A new year is an insert, and last year still recalculates exactly the way it was paid.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know the numbers are right?
The engine is reconciled against the CRA's own calculator for every jurisdiction. The pay stub shows each deduction on its own line so you can check any one of them.
What about Québec?
Québec runs as its own regime: QPP, QPIP, the reduced EI rate, the abatement and RL-1 slips. RL-1 electronic transmission is not built, because Revenu Québec publishes that specification only to registered partners.
